I really liked the poem you chose as an example of this poetic form - the picture you chose also really caught my attention. I think you did a really good job of explaining the impact the form has on the reader. I think the poem you chose was really interesting because chain letters used to be such a common thing, they still might be, and people always said they were so fake and stupid, yet some still believed them. The technology even evolved and the chain letters coming in your mailbox became the spam passed on by email. It is such an interesting concept that is very relatable. I do wonder if the underlying motive of the poem about warning the reader about the power of the letters would have the same effect if it was about those early 2000's emails. Do you think the poem would be the same if that detail changed?
